Current Projects

I have a ton of current projects. These are not projects that are in hibernation, but rather projects that I am working on concurrently. Hmm, Talk about tangled yarn! So I'm going to list them here so I can brag about my prowess . . . . or my insanity! Unless otherwise specified, all patterns can be found on Ravelry.com

Bullion Beach Blanket! This is amazing. I hope that when it is finished, it will do Donna Kay Lacey's pattern justice! The pattern is in the Summer 2012 Interweave magazine. BEAUTIFUL! I have been working on this as a CAL (Crochet A Long) with a group of gals and Donna. It is a 20 week long process and though I am slightly behind I am getting caught up really quick. I will be done in just a few weeks. This is a present for someone so I might not be able to put a picture up. She doesn't know about this blog, but I haven't decided to mention it to family . . . . maybe! My rouge thought--soooo many bullions!

2012 BAM CAL: (Block A Month Crochet A Long). This one is coming up with a holiday spirit. I didn't plan it this way, but it is very Christmasy. It is Red and Green. And though I don't know who I'm giving it to just yet, I am going to give it as a present. A picture will be coming soon.

Whimsical Wonderland BAM CAL: This one is being put together with the patterns of Donna Kay Lacey and a few other gals that are having us test their patterns. I love this! It is intended for my daughter. She knows about it and so I will get a picture up when it is done, but I am working on assembling right now so really, it just looks a mess!

Groovyghan! I love this. I haven't started it yet, but I hope to get it going soon. I need to finish one of the above blankets first. WWBAMCAL is closest to being finished. If I can get that done, then I can focus that time on this one. I really want to get this done for Christmas as well. If I can, it will be a miracle. I do have my yarn picked out and bought, so that is good! I also think this will take much less time than the Bullion Beach Blanket as there are NO bullions! So much faster!! :)

Fairy Tale Finger Puppets. This is for my nephew's birthday. It's coming up in about 4 weeks so I really should finish it. This will have a castle turret, a knight, his trusty stallion, a dragon, evil witch, and of course a damsel in distress!

Market Bag. This is something I found at Hobby Lobby in a booklet. I have some blue cotton and some really pretty fabric to line it. I love this. It's supposed to go with my Secret Santa gift, but I may end up liking it too much .  .  . I'll get a post up soon too on it!

Ok, so I have a bunch of pictures to get up here. I'll get them soon! :)

Warp Speed

This is my first creation that I am adding to this brand spanking new blog! :) I hope to keep up on this and add more as I go (umm, ok we'll see how well that works out!)

Warp Speed was originally created in July 2012. I was trying to capture the look of a firework going off. I think it did that, but when I shared it on ravelry, everyone saw the look of a ship going into warp speed. Think the Enterprise on Star Trek! So that is what it has been forever dubbed!

Without further ado . . . Warp Speed can be found on Ravelry at Patty Thompson Designs, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/warp-speed
